1. Authorized Service Center & OEM Parts
Metro Appliance Warehouse operates strictly as an Authorized Service Center. All parts supplied are genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) components intended for Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Electrolux, GE, Sharp, and other supported brands. We do not manufacture these parts and make no implied warranties regarding their original design or manufacturing.
2. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Repairing household appliances involves exposure to high-voltage electricity, gas lines, and mechanical hazards.
Professional Installation: Metro Appliance Warehouse strongly recommends that a licensed, qualified service technician install all OEM components.
Waiver of Liability: By purchasing parts from this site, the customer assumes all risks associated with the installation and use of the component. Metro Appliance Warehouse shall not be held liable for personal injury, death, property damage (including fire or water damage), or subsequent appliance failure resulting from improper installation, lack of technical knowledge, or incorrect diagnosis.
3. Non-Returnable Electrical Components
Due to the sensitive nature of electrical parts (e.g., main control boards, user interfaces, sensors, capacitors, and motors), these items are strictly non-returnable once the original factory packaging is opened or the part has been connected to power. Pre-existing electrical shorts in an appliance can instantly destroy new electrical components upon installation. Warranty Limitations & Consequential Damages
All OEM parts carry only the limited warranty provided by the original manufacturer. Metro Appliance Warehouse disclaims all other warranties, express or implied. Manufacturer warranties generally cover only part replacement. In no event shall Metro Appliance Warehouse be liable for consequential damages, including but not limited to:
Food loss
Laundry expenses
Loss of use of the appliance
Labor or service call fees
5. Identification Accuracy
Customers are solely responsible for verifying part compatibility using the complete Model Number of their appliance. Purchasing parts based on visual similarity or incorrect self-diagnosis does not shift liability to Metro Appliance Warehouse.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms, and any disputes arising from purchases made through Metro Appliance Warehouse, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska. Any legal actions or proceedings must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Lancaster County, Nebraska.
